My First Wedding Assist

So I had the wonderful privilege of assisting famed wedding photographer Punam Bean. I learned so much in the 10 hrs I worked for her and I hope I get to do it again! It was such a treat. I was too self conscious to shoot but in the spare moments that I mustered up the guts to pull out my camera, this is what I managed to capture. The wedding was at The Foundry in NY. It was an absolutely beautiful place and could I do my wedding all over again, this would be the place to do it, and Punam would be the woman to photograph it.

  2. these are great. your style is really interesting. the photos look 'old' and 'vintage' though they're fresh and new. fun style... i think you're onto something!

  3. I love the black and white one with the trumpet player. Reminds me of an old Miles Davis poster.

  6. I really like the one of the bride glancing at the camera and the trumpet player. And the way the light reflects off the glasses on the last one is beautiful also! And the colors from the one of the band... yeah, I really like 'em!

Except I wouldn't want to get married here. It's too basementy.
