Let me introduce you to our sweet little girl who is the newest addition to our family.  These photos were taken when she was only 4 days old, and it's so hard to believe that she is now 10 days old.  I feel so blessed to have two beautiful children who make me smile everyday.  They truly do bring joy to my life.  This little girl is so good at staying asleep, I couldn't stop myself from taking more and more photos.  I finally had to put the camera down though so that I could give my body some time to heal and relax.  Don't fret, there will definitely be more to come!!  

My favorite shot of the session is being used as our announcement card so I couldn't post it.  But once I mail out our cards, I will post it here.  Stay tuned...

   

Our Growing Family - Maternity - DC/ Alexandria/ NoVa, Family/ Child/ Newborn Photographer

It's been so long since I've posted...and for good reason. A lot has been going on in our lives. Let's see, I got pregnant with our second child, we did some traveling here and there, then we moved to Northern Virginia, and now I'm about 2 week away from giving birth. Phew! In the midst of unpacking our house and trying to get the nursery ready, I managed to squeeze in a few shots of my belly. I'm a lot bigger than I was with the first pregnancy. It's kind of scary to think of how much weight I will have to lose. oh and I should add...It's a girl!!!
Then it was time for Hunter and I to have some fun. Can't forget about my first born son now can I!! He just rocks my world!! I love you Hunter. oh and thank you to my wonderful husband and father of my children for helping me out with these. I always complain that I don't have any pictures of myself b/c I'm usually the one behind the camera.

Hunter - Our Growing Boy

It's hard to believe that in a couple weeks, this little kid that came out of my body, will soon be 18 months. It's been so long since I've photographed him b/c I've been selling off my equipment to reorganize and simplify my life. So with this "borrowed" lens, I decided some photographing was in order. Of course now it's become much harder to keep up with him, being 5 months pregnant (oh boy!), and Hunter being so active. I'm lucky that I managed to get a few good shots in there. It was almost like he was taunting me as he would run away from the camera and start laughing. I still can't believe he's ours!!

Welcome Talea Grace - DC/ Alexandria/ NoVa, Family/ Child/ Newborn Photographer

This little cutie patootie is Talea. She is just over a week old and was so tiny in my hands. I had forgotten how small newborns can be. Not only is she adorable, but she was the perfect baby. Her mama is very lucky. I was a little sad when the shoot ended b/c she was such a joy to photograph. Thanks Talea!!

Caroline + Andy + Po

This is Caroline. She is a dear friend of mine venturing out with a business of her own. I took head shots for her upcoming website, and then we spent a few moments photographing her husband, Andy, and their adorable dog, Po. She is probably one of the most well behaved dogs I've met. She was so much easier to photograph than some of the kids I've done. I'm convinced she was modeling for me. Not only is their dog amazing, but they are the sweetest couple ever, and I'm so glad to have gotten to know them in this past year.
